Walking along the Seine from the 16th back to the center of town at dusk felt like a quintessential Paris experience. As the sun sank down the riverbank came alive with people and music. Boats glided by.

The Seine River in Paris at sunset, people on the bank and a bridge with boat going under in the foreground; Eiffel Tower in the background.
I have some technical quibbles with this image but I like the feel overall; I think it captures the mood.

The boats, bridges, people—and of course the Eiffel Tower—provided plenty of interesting subject matter to pair with the sky and river in my photos.
